Chris has been mixing for a total of seven years, during this time he has been developing his skills and abilities to that of a professional whilst living in several locations across the British Isles including Surrey where he studied in Contemporary Music Production at the Vestax DJ Academy and Staffordshire where he completed his degree in Music Technology with Management.
Birmingham born and bred, Chris Allsopp has spent a great deal of time behind the scenes and is now breaking through into the underground dance scene with his own brand of techno on the co-directed label xe:tech:no, with releases available for download on top web sites, including JunoDownload and beatsdigital.
Begining his musical voyage at a early age Chris has progressed through traditional wind instruments to discover himself at one with the cyclical kind found in bars and night clubs; the turntable. With outstanding technical abilities Chris, has reached the finals in national DJ competition 'So you wanna be a DJ?' and been one to lay claim to Mixmag's 'Bedroom Hero'. Chris' most recent escapades have placed him next to top DJs including Mark Williams and Ignition Technician and he has much more planned for 2009.
